Poland 2008
In December 1918, the allied military commission along with Ignacy Paderewski set off to revitalize Poland. The road led through Great Poland and Paderewski promised to make a stop in Poznań. On 26 December, crowds gathered in front of the Bazar Hotel, which admitted the delegation. On the next day the uprising broke out.
The film examines the Great Poland Uprising, the only one that was completed successfully, but a little-known fragment of history. It is a fusion of documentary materials, contemporary reconstructions, and three-dimensional computer animations.
